Dr. Jeffrey Mueller, MD

Dr. Jeffery Mueller is an M.D., with a background in Internal Medicine who has been in practice since 1992. Dr. Mueller has focused intensely on the development of advanced nutritional & state of the art alternative therapies in areas ranging from metabolic syndrome and diabetes to cancer. Dr. Mueller obtained his M.D. in 1989 from the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, followed by completion of an Internship in Internal Medicine at ORMC (now ORHS) in Orlando, FL. He is a member of the American College for Advancement in Medicine (ACAM), a highly respected educational institution for Integrative physicians in the U.S. Dr. Mueller focuses on getting to the root of chronic conditions and healing the immune system through advanced methods such as IV therapy.

Meet your medical provider, Karen Kelly, APRN. Karen is a Memphis, Tennessee native and mother of three who’s called Florida home for over 12 years. She received her bachelors in nursing from the University of Memphis, Loewenberg School of Nursing where she completed an internship at a nationally acclaimed level one pediatric trauma center. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing and obtained her board certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Karen specializes in helping patients with hormonal health, autoimmune conditions, and chronic illness. She is prepared to help patients in getting to the root cause of their health concerns and formulate an individualized treatment plan to address those concerns.

Dr. Maria Patricia Ilagan MD, FACP

Dr. Maria Patricia Ilagan MD, FACP, graduated from the accelerated medical program at the prestigious University of the Philippines. After completing her Internal Medicine residency at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, she also served as Chief Resident for another year. She was in private practice in the suburban Philadelphia area for a number of years before moving to central Florida with her family. Dr. Ilagan has always had a special interest in an integrative approach to health care and disease prevention. She believes that everyone should be actively involved in their care and strives to continuously share information to educate her patients. She is a frequently invited speaker for educational conferences for medical professionals on topics like Preventive Health & Maintenance, Hormonal Health, and Weight Management.

With over 30 years of clinical experience, Dr. Ilagan has expertise in adult preventive medicine and disease management, bio-identical hormone therapy for men and women, as well as nutrition and wellness/anti-aging medicine. Dr. Ilagan also has a special interest in the field of Obesity & Weight Medicine, focusing on the treatment and management of overweight and obese patients and their related conditions and co-morbidities. She utilizes an individualized approach to weight management, incorporating diet, nutrition, hormones, medications, exercise, and behavioral tools to help patients achieve and maintain a healthy weight for life.

She is board-certified by the National Board of Physicians & Surgeons. She completed a fellowship and certification in Anti-aging, Regenerative & Functional Medicine by the Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (a private organization not affiliated with or recognized by the Florida Board of Medicine). She is a member of the American College of Physicians-American Society of Internal Medicine (ACP-ASIM), the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), and the Philippine-American Physicians of Central Florida. Dr. Ilagan is fluent in both English and Filipino. Her interests include art, photography, organic gardening, biking, and spending quality time with her husband and children. Jeff Kime, APRN

A true Floridian, Jeff was born and raised right here in Orlando. His journey in medicine began at the University of Central Florida, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2013. Since then, he has dedicated 13 years to bedside nursing, including an eight-year tenure as a travel nurse. This unique chapter of his career allowed him to live and work in various states across the U.S., sharpening his clinical skills and giving him a deep appreciation for diverse patient needs.


  Driven by a commitment to advanced patient care, Jeff recently earned his Master’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. In his role here, Jeff specializes in peptide adjunct therapy and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). His goal is focusing on helping patients achieve optimal wellness and vitality through personalized and natural, evidence-based treatments.

  When he isn’t working in the clinic, Jeff is almost certainly planning his next international adventure. An avid explorer, he has already visited five continents—his favorite trip to date being an incredible journey through Hawaii, Australia, and New Zealand. At home, Jeff enjoys life in Orlando with his two dogs and is always planning for the next stamp in his passport.

Heather McDonald a Michigan native now living in Florida, is Pediatric Board Certified Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate from the University of Southern Florida.  With 17 years of experience in hospital medicine, Heather now focuses on partnering with parents to support children's health and development. Maria Alejandra Diaz, MD, FACOG

She joins the practice with a passionate commitment to patient care, trained in Morpheus8 and Quantum RF. Her impressive credentials and work ethic will enhance the care of patients with a wide range of health care needs, from routine health screenings to the most complex cases of minimally invasive robotic surgery and high-risk pregnancies. Dr. Diaz completed her training at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies, an institution nationally recognized for its specialty services related to women’s health and outstanding educational programs. After residency, Dr. Diaz had a successful practice in the Clermont, Florida, area before deciding to relocate to Seminole County to be closer to family. Dr. Diaz was born in Bogota, Colombia, and moved with her family to Naples, Florida, when she was 11 years old. Her love for science and her aspiration to serve ultimately led her to seek a career in medicine. Her deep interest in and concern for issues related to women’s health made the field of obstetrics and gynecology a natural fit. Dr. Diaz does enjoy spending the free time she has with family, traveling, and working on personal fitness.

Jennifer Schwertner, MSN, APRN

Jennifer is a board-certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner with 15 years of clinical experience. A proud native of Orlando, Florida, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida. Throughout her career, Jennifer has served her local community in both cardiology and primary care. Recently, she expanded her expertise to include bioidentical hormone optimization as well as aesthetics. Jennifer is certified by InMode for advanced treatments like Morpheus8 radiofrequency microneedling. She is also a skilled injector of neuromodulators and dermal fillers offering patients personalized care for natural radiant-looking skin. Her goal is to help each patient achieve optimal health, confidence, and a renewed sense of well-being.

Bridgette Barlow, Certified Health Coach

Bridgette is a certified Functional and Holistic Health Coach and Personal Trainer, having a great deal of experience in both! She has worked with clients in many formats including one on one and groups-- both in-person and virtually. She has also worked in corporate wellness, leading the wellness and exercise programs for 5000 employees of the Wonderful Pistachios plant in California. She’s taught group exercise classes (including boot camps, kickboxing and cardio ballet).

 For the last 15 years, She has worked in direct contact with health care practitioners inside medical offices, helping doctors to get better results for their patients through holistic nutrition and lifestyle practices.  Her last 8 years were spent working in an integrative practice, specializing in hormone balance. She has learned and trained under several doctors and nurse practitioners on hormone balance lifestyle and it is a true passion of hers to help women understand how to maintain their health in each phase of life. Sara Ratkai, APRN

Sara Sara Ratkai, FNP-C, is a compassionate, board-certified family nurse practitioner with more than 15 years of patient-care experience. Her passion for root-cause medicine inspires her to look beyond individual symptoms and explore the underlying factors affecting each patient’s health and quality of life.
